While flexshaft is the only way to go for serious use, the Dremel has
it’s place, particularly the rechargeable model. It’s good for
novices as it’s easy to handle and it won’t do as much damage as the
high speed models. It’s also good for touch up at shows and with a
mini torch can be used for sizing and polishing light rings (if fire
marshal allows).
