Downsizing ring with shared prong melee

Yup those are all useful. The vice grip I have for setting is an actual vice grip brand that was old and sitting around in my till box forever. It hurt a little too take it to the grinder but now it’s my favorite pliers by far. The cheap Chinese ones don’t lock or cam as nice.
I have a slotted regular pliers for martinis as well. Great minds think alike right😉. I bet I got a martini trick for you. Go to you tube to daltonsqr2 and watch martini hack. See if you can find it. Otherwise ill post a link. SD

I found the hack, using the Jacobs chuck to hold the Martini earring while cutting the seat. Neat, thanks

Oh I so love a good tool modification.

I also love to see and share tool hacks and customized specialty tools

Now my #30 Foredom is going to sub as an earring clamp for Martinis!

That #30 handpiece has already become a bench lathe for me, for setting tube settings, and for spin carving ring waxes, thanks to Kate Wolf’s little collet that adapts it to the GRS BenchMate system

Or even a table router for carving waxes, also because of another of Kate’s adaptations to use the #30 and the BenchMate system
