Doming Bangles

Hi all I am looking for a machine hand powered and or electric
powered to dome strips of gold and silver into domed bangles. Right
now we are using wooded dapping blocks.

There are two machines available that do the Bangle Profile. Hand
operated machine similar to a Rolling mill but with side Rollers
only. The Rollers Come in pairs (male Female). Different size
rollers can be ordered. The machine was designed in Italy during the
Gas Light era and later modified in Asia. Now being used to make
Gypsy Bangles (Rajasthani). I can e mail this picture to you.
Electrically operated. I have a machine that was made by a master
tool and die maker form Brooklyn New York. The machine has a 1/2 HP
gear Motor and we have about 3 pairs of rollers. This machine has
adjustable guide to feed the metal strip. The doming capacity and
the design is very good. I have to locate the rollers and can put
this on email to you later.

Dear Langton, Try Miland’s pliers, he makes several different widths
and they are available through Rio. He has a website but, I can’t

Both Rio Grande and Stullers carry synclastic forming pliers which
