Hi!
I was looking for a nice way to package a gift today, of a pair of
Blue Marquise Sapphires. What I ended up with looked so good, I
wanted to share it. I think if we can sell gems and cabs
individually, we’ll have the opportunity to make a profit two times.
First on the sale of the stone, and then on the eventual jewelry
fabricating job.
I put the two gems in one of those little round plastic vials… but
it looked so bland. So I took a hinged ring box that had a foam
insert covered in a velvety cover. I took a small pair of scissors
and cut a circle out of the center. It was a little rough looking,
but it was smaller than the vial and I stretched it into the opening.
It looked stunning. Looks like a hundred bucks!
