Dislpay light fixtures

Hi all! I have been using “screw on” type lights (long arm) on my
table for several years, the table is a portable one, purchased from
JC Penney Co., this table folds up, it is aluminum and some kind of
fiberboard - there is a 2" aluminum skirt around the edge so the
"screw" on the lights has to go over that to fit securely. The
light fixture(s) I have been using was purchased at either Office
Depot, or Office Max, long arm, over the desk type. What I do not
like is that it is not very secure . . . I’ve had these light
fixtures fall off (of course, it made a lot of noise, but there was
no damage- other than the light bulb bursting.) I use small 40
Watt spot lights which don’t generally go over the limit for most
shows. Can anyone suggest a place to look for similar lighting
fixtures that would be more secure??? I will be doing an outdoor
show that requires “lights” in June.

Thanks for any advice!!!

Try USA Light and Electric, specifically their #BO-6115 fixture that
you can find at the following link:

You will need to use 50 watt (maximum) MR-16 halogen bulbs. These
fixtures are lightweight, can be clamped on to almost anything, and
are extremely versatile in terms of adjusting the direction of the
beam. The arms extend from 12" to 24". Disadvantage: the head of
the lamp gets scalding hot, but that seems to be true of all halogen
fixtures. Also they’re expensive but worth it.
