Digital refractometers

Does anyone have experience using a digital refractometer like the
Gem-n-Eyeone sold on Amazon for $425? Reliable or not?

I have a different one and find it convenient for a quick ri. It is
no where a substitute for a proper refractometer, but it is useful
and far more portable. I do like it for “over the limit” ris. You can
see what you really have. You can separate diamond, moissinaite, and
other high ri stones.

It isn’t good for spot ri like a cabochon.

That particular model is available for a bit less bought directly
from the supplier listed on Amazon.
