Didymium Glasses

hi rick, i've been using a #5 welding lens
love to be able to add magnification as well. would your new
dididium glasses help? what are they, i'ver never heard of them?

Didymium lens are used for hot glass work to cut sodium flare (
yellow light ). My wife uses them for her bead making and I use
them when I am soldering as they don’t block much of the red
light and I can see when my work is getting to hot, I also know a
knife maker who uses them for the same reason, he told me that he
can see thing ( with hot steel ) that he could not before. Jim B.
