Diamond mining

Hey all, Rael here! Just wanted to bring up the topic of diamond
mining. I went on a camping trip to Arkansas this past summer and
witnessed people actually finding several. I however did not find
any diamonds but I found some pretty quartzes. Does any one know
of other mines open to the public near the north east, it doesn’t
have to be for diamonds? I had a great time, love to do it again.

For a “diamond” mining opportunity, check out Herkimer Mines in
Herkimer, NY. I think they still let you do your own hunting. The
stones are really quartz, but the quartz is very clean and they’re
doing some really interesting faceting of their mined stones.
