Demand and Clientele for Fine Emeralds

Hey gang,

I’m curious: are there any fellow Orchidians who would have both the
demand and clientele for exceptionally fine Colombian emeralds, if
they were to become available on a more or less regular basis (with
certificates from either AGTA or Gubelin)? I don’t have many such
gems on hand, at the moment, but I guess you could say that I’m
putting my ear to the ground and listening for vibrations, as I
expect to have them on hand in the near future. If any of you have
any interest, please contact me off-list for particulars?

The emerald market has rebounded nicely. However, most
jewelers/manufacturers are purchasing commercial quality goods.

The top end are easiest to sell but the most difficult to locate. In
general, the origin game plays a significant part in fetching the
$10,000/ct prices.

We are always interested in gem quality emeralds over 4 carats,
Colombian, clean, and no treatments.
