I know I’ve seen them at the gem shows and used to buy from this
company years ago.
Another jewelry/rockhound friend posted about this on Facebook…

Sad news in the lapidary world, in my email today… “We
unfortunately have some tragic news to shaRe: Dave Vukmanovich
passed away Tuesday, December 7th. Son of Leonard and Margaret
Vukmanovich, founders of the V-Rock Shop, Dave always had a passion
for rocks and minerals and was part of the business for many years.
His death came as a shock to us all - he was killed by intruders who
broke into his home. The investigation is ongoing, and you can find
further on many of the Tucson, AZ news websites.Leaving
us far too soon at the age of 54, we take comfort in the fact that he
lived life to the fullest, and we know he would want us to do the
same. He is survived by his son Davis, former wife Sue Vukmanovich,
parents Leonard and Margaret Vukmanovich, long-time companion Jody
Sweetapple, brother Gerald (Lora) Vukmanovich, sister Anna Chickos,
and numerous friends and extended family. We have already received
much support from our customers and business associates, for which
we are very grateful. While we realized many will be saddened by this
news, we hope you will treat this as an opportunity to embrace and
cherish your loved ones. In these stressful economic times it can be
easy to get distracted and take the more important things in life
for granted. Take a moment to focus on what’s truly important. If
anyone would like to share pictures or stories about Dave, please
send them to rchickos@gmail.com. Thanks again to everyone for the
kind thoughts and prayers - they are very much appreciated.” V-ROCK
