Copper casting grain

Continue from:

For those of you who like to solder little balls of contrasting
metal colors onto your jewelry now and then, let me recommend the
copper casting grain offered by Daniel Ballard’s Precious Metals
West daniel@preciousmetalswest.com. A pound of these gives you a
wide variety of sizes, and they’re lovely and affordable! (I also
use silver and brass casting grains for the same reason – it’s much
easier than melting my own little lumps. My jewelry tends to be on
the free-form side, so I don’t need exact sizes or shapes because I
regard the variations as part of the charm!)
