I have a number of silver nugget beads that I would like to get
gold-plated. I am interested to know who might be a good company to
work with for gold plating, gold-filling type services - both in
terms of quality and reasonable price. Thanks for your advice and
help.

http://www.monsenplating.com is in Berkeley. They plate all sorts of
things, but their forte is silver plate and restoration, just so you
know. But also gold and others. Old family business. Gold filled, of
course, begins as a mill product - there is no “gold filling”,
really. I guess Rio Grande does or used to do plating, but I heard
they’re not so good for small jobs - looking for 1000 pieces and
stuff. Just what I heard.

Although their main business is ecumenical, they love working on art
related projects. All of the work is in house and beautifully done.
