Congratulations!

Just wanted to say congratulations to Dr. Aspler. The new site
is very nice indeed (some extremely minor items to be fixed).

We, on Orchid and others as well who stop by are indebted to Dr.
Hanuman Aspler.

Without his Buddhist and human stance on sharing and giving we
would not have this site in our lives. I looked for a long time
at a lot of web sites and conversed with a lot of people before
finding someone to work with in this project who understood that
giving is receiving.

I just wanted to give him the thanks he is due and to note that
this is a man who gave a year of his personal leave to this
project, who, along with running a fairly good sized jewelry
company and making his own work and designing has given untold
hours of effort for us, I think we can all tell that Ganoksin
does not benefit financially that much from this effort (please
tell everyone you know to buy Ganoksin jewelry so as to support
the project-retailers especially as Ganoksin supplies wholesale
accounts-this is not a spam-I think Dr. Aspler should be rewarded
for his efforts).

He has certain principles in production (like certain power
tools not used so as to retain the mark of the human hand upon
the work) which represent a philosophical position and stance
regarding metalsmithing (which we all have some connection to)
that is of interest and respect in this world of capitalism and
its principles.

I respect you.

So, you have done a nice job and a good thing in the world Dr.
Hanuman Aspler. We appreciate it.

Thanks Charles for expressing our appreciation of Dr. Aspler so
eloquently.

I agree the new page looks sensational and is very user
friendly.

Thank you, Dr. Aspler, for all the sacrifices you have made for
all of us on Orchid. I am sure you efforts will be rewarded.

I would like also to thank Dr. Aspler. I live in Southern Oregon and have
no financial or local resources to go to any kind of school or get
training. Orchid has taught me alot and I hope I’ve also given some back
in the questions I’ve asked that benenfit others. Three cheers to Dr.
Aspler, thanks again and again…Dave

I would like to second what Charles has written so succinctly.
Since I discovered the Orchid web-site I have been amApproved:
beseder.pass azed at its quality. It’s Fantastic! My favourite
site so far is “Tips from the Jewellers Bench” which I think is
quite wonderful.

Thank you so much, Dr Aspler! It is very much appreciated.

Vira.

May I add my gratitude to the list of Orchid members, Dr. Aspler. I run
my store entirely by myself, from sales to bench to cleaning and if it
weren’t for Orchid I would feel totally isolated. I am in an area where it
can be difficult to find anyone willing to share any with you.
I may not know a lot, but I do know that teaching is the best way to learn,
and sharing benefits everyone. You, Dr. Aspler, have made, at least my
world, a better place. And it is nice to know that because of your
generousity, consumers the world over will enjoy the benefits of more
knowledgable jewelers.

Sincerely,
Sharon Ziemek
