Compressing Square Wedding Ring

All my dies are round and have no idea about compressing a square ring. Even sizing correctly seems like it would take four cuts. Does anyone make a square die or anyone have another suggestion?

So how much is it going to be made smaller?

About a half size on a guys ring. He lost 14 pounds and is afraid of losing it. I’m thinking it may be safer to solder a tiny bit of sizing bar on a corner inside.

Or sizing balls on 4 sides, less perminate solution. My experience has been to remove them within a few months.

A half size is a pretty small cut. But I agree with sizing balls. I think just two would work and be easier than the bar.

You could put a sleeve in it. That’s a thin piece of metal, like another ring, soldered to the inside.

Thanks.
