I heard that NASA will soon put the ultrasonic drill on the Martian
Rover into use. If you think $8 per hole is expensive you can always
go to my Martian competition. I’d be willing to bet I’m cheaper
though.
In that vein, there was a ‘review’ of the Martian Rover, written by
the L.A. Times’ automobile reviewer. You can find it at:
Basically, he found the vehicle interesting, but slightly overpriced
at $410 million.
