Margaret, Do not worry for DeBeers in terms of colored diamonds . The
mines they work with also produce some of the finest colored
diamonds. Unfortunately the do not produce enough to make it
worthwhile doing any major marketing for their colored diamonds. The
Argyle mine in Australia does turn out some very nice pinks and
champagne colors, but for the other colors yellow, cognac, blue,
orange, green I believe you have to look to other parts of the world.
