Classes in the Phoenix, AZ area?

Hi all,

I have an advanced student moving to the Phoenix area. She is
looking for classes, so that she can continue learning and growing.
Can anyone give me suggestions that I can share with her?

Thanks!
Cindy

Hi Cindy.

Don’t know if there are others, but all of these have classes in
metals:

Phoenix Center for the Arts, Mesa Arts Center, Tempe Parks and Rec
(Pyle Center)

And it just occurred to me that she could probably sign up for
metals at ASU (Tempe). I took just a semester there years ago.

I offer private individual instruction, personalized consultation,
and occasional group workshops in my Scottsdale AZ studio.

I also teach several weekend workshops each year as a visiting guest
instructor at MAC - Mesa Arts Center.

Cindy,

The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation department offers a whole
list of jewelry classes (look in metals, adult) that span a range of
student levels. In addition, several of the instructors teach
one-on-one techniques. Also note that there is a premier art retreat
in August in Phoenix named Art Unraveled where there are many jewelry
workshops offered ( see Art Unraveled / Adorn Me! ).

Best,
Chuck

Contact Michael David Sturlin - he’s available for instruction at
his own studio, and he’s familiar with other resources in the Phoenix
metro area, including Mesa.
