CIJT students receives awards

#1

Congratulations to David Preston, instructor at CIJT, William Gable,
Graduate and Teachers Assistant at CIJT and Ginger Field, Graduate
and current apprentice at CIJT had their entries accepted at the
California State Fair for 2011. Out of 1400 + entries in the fine
art category, which also includes oils, acrylics, water color,
sculpturing, jewelry and other fine arts, Six were chosen, three of
which were David, William and Ginger. This was a huge accomplishment
due to the severe competition.

We are so very happy and proud of the three of them including some
of our other students who entered in the spirit of competition. This
is not a “novice show” but instead has attracted entries from the
likes of jewelry artists and instructors from other areas. In fact
one of them won an award from us a few years ago for his winning
design.

So, heads up team, we have a great staff.
