I’m a designer and I’ve always manufactured and sold my own
jewelry, so charging for a design was never an issue for me, the
cost of time to create a design and its uniqueness was included
in the price of the finished jewelry.
Now I want to sell a design as a creation, I don’t want to
manufacture it. my question if anybody can help: - how much should
I charge for a design? - should my price be based on an hourly
rate, a percentage of the estimated cost of the jewelry designed
or an arbitrary price based on the beauty or desirability of the
design?
