Hi all: A jeweler friend gave me this tip on channel setting in bands
and similar rings. Open the channel to receive the stones and when
they are in place, superglue them in. Then select the proper roller
from the set that goes with your ring shank roller (ring sizer), one
with a groove just larger than the channel, roll the chanel over the
stones and do the appropriate cleanup.
I’ve not tried this. Does anyone have a comment on how well this
would work and whether there’s a downside to it?
