We manufacture a range of Welsh (Celtic) jewellery. At the
moment we cut out knot patterns for rings, ear rings etc.
What we would like to do is manufacture Celtic knot wedding
bands.
Is it better to cut out the knot pattern in a strip and then tap
and solder round?
What problems would we have if we soldered the cut out onto a
backing sheet and then tapped it round.?
Is there a better way (instead of soldering the knot work onto a
backing sheet) to produce a pattern of celtic knotwork where
there is a backing to the pattern.?
Any help with these matters would be appreciated.
