Dear Michael - What a great posting to Orchid! Thanks so much for
your support and good thoughts. As I have pointed out to all our
fellow Orchidians, Hanuman’s and Ton’s time and efforts are all
donated also - they do not profit from this. They both have day jobs
and they do Orchid at night - truly amazing. Sam donates my time for
the various projects and I think most Orchidians feel the way you do
about how important Orchid is. But it’s easy to let it slide and
think you’ll do it tomorrow until it’s too late. Thanks again, Pat @

Since all the tickets are sold now… Why not just hold the raffle

I concur, but let’s not forget to thank Rio Grande, whose generosity
made this raffle possible. What a class act they are! As I’ve said
before, its hard to be all things to all people, but they do a
remarkable job of trying to pull it off… recent hiccups aside! :wink:

Dear Dave - Rio is high on our list of people/companies who care. I
just talked (e-mailed) Andrea Hill, Director of Marketing and she
reads all of our postings. She’s well aware of our gratitude and I
suspect they will keep up with their support of Orchid. I agree with
you, it never hurts to say “thank you” many times for what they
