Would I be to bold to give another way to make a hinge?? OK I
`ll be bold… First take a soda straw of the size you want to
make your hinge.Dip it in hot wax to cover inside and out but
leave enough room for the the item to go thru the straw.Cut the
straw piecies to the size you want join them in the middle with a
wax round or square piece.Very carefullycast making sure that
investment goes thru the straw piece.Cast then when you clean up
you only have to put another wax rod of the right size and cast
it…I have written this up in the Lapidary Journal in the year of
1984 it was published in Oct. of that year. thanks for
