I’m taking a casting class and we ran out of injector wax. There is a bunch of used up wax that we’ve accumulated but it has traces of talc. Had anyone else cleaned the talc from the wax in order to be reused? We are concerned about the talc traces clogging the injector, so we would like to know if there is a way of safely removing it or is that too risky? Any help is appreciated! 
I’ve always been taught that old, dirty injection wax is best thrown away and replaced with new injection wax.
Yes, it’s a waste, but there’s no good way to completely clean it as far as I know.
Maybe others will have a better suggestion.
