Lark Books seeks images to feature in the gallery of an upcoming
publication, Making Metal Clay Beads by Barbara Becker Simon.
Scheduled for release in Spring 2009, this book will feature metal
clay bead projects, as well as a gallery of inspirational images by
a variety of artists. Diverse styles, materials, and
techniques-including etching, enameling, mixed media, and stone
setting-are desired. Beads may be in any shape and created from any
type of metal clay. Artists may send images of beads by themselves
and/or incorporated into jewelry. All jewelry forms-rings, bracelets,
earrings, brooches, necklaces, and others-will be considered. All
submissions must include a metal clay bead in some form.
Artists whose work is selected for inclusion will receive full
acknowledgment within the book, a complimentary copy, and discounts
on the purchase of books. Artists retain copyright of their work.
Lark accepts high-quality transparencies, slides, and digital images.
No entry fee is required.
Submissions must be postmarked by November 16, 2007.
