[Call for Entries] Additive 3D printing techniques

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) is having a conference
and exhibition this May in Minneapolis Minnesota focusing on rapid
prototyping and manufacturing, and would like to showcase some
examples of jewelry and other art objects being made using additive
3-D printing techniques. People using this process in interesting
ways are encouraged to submit pictures of their models through the
SME website:

There is no fee for entering. (Since the Society cannot guarantee
the security of precious stones and metals, it’s advised that models
be submitted instead of finished jewelry.) If you have designed some
interesting pieces but haven’t had them built yet, you can submit
renderings of your water-tight STL files; if the jury likes them
they will find a participating vendor to build them for the show.
