I am interested in training in CAD but would like to know which software is best for an independent designer with no CAD experience. I also would like to know who has the best online and on demand CAD training?

so…question…as a designer, which of the below best describes how your mind works…?

you bust out a drawing board, T-Square, angles, and rulers…you want to determine the measurements of everything and how they fit/ relate to adjacent elements…precision is important…correct scale is critical…spacing, stone placement, thicknesses…you work from the center out…

you sketch a piece loosely…organically…

you grab a piece of clay, paper, etc, and mold the shape…from the outside in…
are you right brain or left brain dominant…
do you like playing on the computer
the price ranges vary greatly…from say $1500-7000
not to mention a large monitor and hood graphics card…
