Buffing spindle for baldor 333B

There are three Baldor 333B buffers in the studio. These are 3/4 hp
double-spindle buffers with 3/4-inch spindles for buffs with 3/4-inch
holes that are clamped between shouldered washers tightened by a
3/4-inch coarse-thread hex nut. They’re quiet and work great. But
there are times I wish for a tapered-thread buffing spindle to use
some of the screw-on buffs and other accessories available. Baldor
makes some adapters, but none that fit the 3/4-inch thread on this
model buffer. Has anyone ever come across a source of tapered buffing
spindle adapters with 3/4-inch female thread?

There are tapered spindles to fit 5/8" shafts that lock with set
screws. There’s probably enough thickness to have one drilled and
tapped for 3/4-10. The hole only needs to be drilled out to 21/32"
for a 3/4-10 thread.

Seems to be it, but I’d call to be sure:
