In the day job I work in industrial distribution…(CS/sales)…
Mcamaster-Carr is one of my competitors…and they’re darn good at
what they do…have bought stuff personally from them that I
couldn’t find anywhere else…you might pay a bit more, but their in
stock is phenomenal, and in most cases you don’t have to deal in
minimums…
If you know anyone who works in industrial buying, you might see if
thay have an older Mcmaster catalog they will part with (they come
out yearly, at least)… About three inches wide…
I keep one around just for reference…
