[Boston] Shows Classes in October?

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I have managed to live
without my own internet access for almost 9 months and I’m sending
this from the Kinkos near my flat. I am going to Boston in October
and thought I should ask and see if there is anything I should work
around, shows classes etc.

Mark,

Look up our website at Metalwerx. There are two very good workshops
with Michael Sturlin in Pricing and Promotion, and Studio Essentials.
Please stop by Metalwerx and say hello. If you need a place to work,
we have a very well equipped studio with lots of tools. Mostly, come
by and say hello.

Look forward to seeing you,

karen

Hello,

As far as Jewelry/Metals shows go I’d check out the show at the
Mobilia Gallery in Cambridge Mass. The current work is from
California Metalsmith Marilyn da Silva, and British artist Kevin
Coates. It’s really worth checking out!

Also if you have time visit other museums in Boston such as the:

I know my undergrad school, Massachusetts College of Art has some
shows up and I’m sure other Colleges in Boston might as well.

There are also small galleries along Newbury Street (Boston) such as
the Society of Arts and Crafts, and there are some Jewelers located
in South End and Fort Point portion of Boston.

Come to think of it October is a big month for many artists having
their open studios. So if you’re there during that time go check it
out!
