Boony restraining rings

I was wondering if any one on the forum has an alternative to using
the the Boony Doon Bracelet Restraining Rings. I already have the
2.5" urethaneinsert and the rings can’t be bought separately from
Rio. I don’t want to have to spend$110.00 just to get the rings. I’m
sure someone out there has found an alternative. Any ideas would be
very much appreciated.

I have a few thoughts and suggestions:

A. special order the rings only (did you ask Rio?)

B. order the set, and then you’ll be able to stack the urethanes,
and make really BIG bracelets, or boxes, or vessels, etc.

C. If you get “really into” forming with the press, you’ll be glad
of the extra urethane

D. if A, B, and C don’t work for you, I could sell you a pair of
rings.
