I have become interested in fused glass lately; those dichro
pendants i have been seeing some of you doing are just wonderful. I
have looked, but there is no one in my country to teach glass
jewelry classes. Can anyone point me to a really good,
beginner-oriented and comprehensive book on fused glass that i could
buy through Amazon? Plus, i needed a source for those dichroic
glasses, preferrably from CBS. Does anyone have a favourite dealer?
I highly recommend “Contemporary Warm Glass: A Guide to Fusing, Slumping & Kiln-Forming Techniques” by Brad Walker. You can buy it

It is the book that we used to learn how to fuse glass and is an
excellent book for beginning and intermediate fusers. The website is
also an excellent resource because it contains almost all of the
out of the book plus lots of extra and
discussion forums. We never took a class to learn how to fuse glass.
We simply learned from the book and a lot of trial and error. We
certainly made more than a few mistakes along the way but that is
the best way to learn. Good luck!
