Hi all, I want to tell you all about a beautiful new book that was
just published called Art Jewelry Today, by Dona Meilach, published
by Schiffer.
Admittedly, there are a few editing errors, but the
hardbound book is packed with color photos and is really gorgeous.
Best of all, a photo of a pair of my earrings is included as well as
my how-to photos of creating a pendant with bezel-set cabochons! And
how did I even hear about this book being published? Well, you know
the answer: it was right here in Orchid that I read the Call for
Entries about two years ago. My copy arrived the day before a show
last week, so I was able to have it with me and show it off to my
customers and friends. I really hope I get so jaded that this kind
of thing doesn’t thrill me completely. Meanwhile, I am ‘totally
stoked’ about being in this lovely “coffee table book”.
