Just a side note. There is a thick liquid compound that is sold in
stores like the Home Depot that can produce a coating on tools
similar to the coating that comes on some hand tools. Works great
on things like the tips of tweezers or hand tools whose handles were
never coated. I have coated some of my dental wax carving tools. The
coating can be built up, by several dunkings, to what ever thickness
you desire. The stuff comes in white or black. I even coated the
head of one of my door keys to make is stand out against my other
keys. The only problem with the stuff is once you start dunking
things you will go out of the way to find other things to dunk.
