Blackening agent beside sulphur

HCL + NaCl = H2O + NaCl or for those who have not taken chemistry.

In the above reaction, where does the oxygen comes from? Also, on the
left you have one atom of hydrogen, but on the right you have two.

How did that happen? The same goes for chlor. You need to revise your
equation.

Table salt is sodium chloride NaCl.

Recent medical research shows it not toxic IN MODERATION.

What do they put in your condiments in NY.

Could explain a lot. LOL

Do they still have that 60’s Kool-Aid too?

I know, I know, I know, I got the formula wrong. Late night had
taught earlier and my back was hurting, pain pill and then reading
Orchid. Do not trust a old lady with that combo with anything other
than a cookie recipe late at night. Al I’m sorry for getting that one
wrong.

kool aid is, in fact still available in more flavours than I remember
as a kid. the malic and tartaric acid is still in it too!

HCL + NaCl = H2O + NaCl

Yes, I know. Sorry if you missed the point of my tongue-in-cheek
comment. As for soap-making, my family didn’t buy lye at the grocery

  • my father leached it from the burn barrel. The tallow needed came
    from the farm, too.

For those who have taken chemistry, the equation is HCl + NaOH =
H2O + NaCl
