shops/galleries I could visit in that area.

Judy, make sure to visit the Gugenheim Museum there in Bilbao. I was
there in 2004 and it was well worth the visit. Check out the
architecture of the museum as well. Talk about one great metal
design!

I’ll second that. Sadly I didn’t manage to get there when I visited
Spain but I really wanted to. I love Frank Gehry’s architecture and
studied him when studying design at college. All that titanium - I
dread to think what that cost to clad the building!
