Bezels on a bracelet

Once you have a good idea of what the curve in the bottom of the
bezel needs to be, you can carve off the excess metal with a flex
shaft with a cylinder bur. Wrap a piece of sandpaper around a
bracelet mandrel and rub the bezel where the curve is most
similar to the curvature of the bracelet to refine the surface.
Just keep checking the fit, often.

I know there are devices with multiple pins to assist in wood
for moldings and corners. Is it possible one of them could be
used to determine the exact curvature, locked into place opened
flat and traced onto the open bezel strip?
