Hi
I make sterling silver tiaras which I adorn on the ends of the wires
with semi-precious beads and swarovski crystals.
I tend to use 1.5mm silver wire and then solder a smaller thickness
of wire 0.8mm - 1mm thick on the end to slot the bead on as the
1.5mm wire is too thick to go through pre-drilled holes in beads.
Now…what would you all recommend as the best adhesive for gluing
the beads to the smaller lengths of wire. I have tried
superglue…but that doesnt seem too great. Araldite has worked
OK…but its hard to get the amounts correct so you mix it up
properly! I am based in the UK and would be really grateful of any
advice! I am not sure what I am doing wrong!
