Hello everyone. As I branch out into more techniques, I find I’d rather buy used equipment than new. Especially for expensive items like a rolling mill. Where do you find used jewelry equipment? Is there a place here on this forum? (I’m located in the U.S.) Thanks.

“Metalsmiths Swap Meet” via Facebook is the best I’ve seen along with “The Artist Garage Group.”

With the Artists Garage Sale group, you will need to be approved to join. Don’t know that they have turned any away so proceed. You will have to watch regularly as good items go fast.
I’ve scored lapidary equipment from the facebook groups at decent prices, sold some things I wanted to move too. I also suggest monitoring Craigslist, I just picked up a small polisher from a Craigslist add, nice piece of equipment and fairly priced.
