Best metal wire to fill PVC tubing

Hi

I am wanting to make necklets from 2.5mm PVC tubing, and have been
having some trouble finding the best wire to fill it. Copper and
nickel both kink, and stainless steel falls into a rigid straight
line when not clasped shut. Any suggestions?

Try steel memory wire. It has a natural curve that works great with
rubber and PVC tubing.

Hi Anna,

You’re going to want a cable, not a solid wire. Cable’s more
flexible, and won’t kink the way wire does. (even though it’s made
of wires.) I’d suggest stainless aircraft cable. Cheap, small, and
springy.
