Best display material?

Hi all - I’m wondering which suppliers people use for really top end
display material (boxes, trays etc).

I can find lots of inexpensive stuff, but very little REALLY nice
stuff. Your input will be appreciated!

Hello Joseph, Well, suede-covered forms, boxes, and pillows make a
pretty classy display… pricey too! I have seen such displays at a
high-end, custom jewelery store. I do mostly outdoor shows, so I
need something that can be washed - leather can’t be washed and it
can fade in sunlight. My solution was to buy some Ultrasuede and
sew my own. It’s machine washable and dryable, doesn’t fade, and
can be made to your own specifications. Hope this helps.

Your best bet is probably to have something custom made for you. We
had a wood worker custom design some beautiful ring trays for us.

Thanks for the responses to my questions everyone.

I’ve decided that I want very simple black lacquered boxes (without
any patterns or painting), and leather boxes. Where is the best place
to look for these? I need to display cufflinks in them, so a supplier
that will make to order would be nice, but not essential.
