Sizing a ring
Runtime: 51m 24s
Did you ever wonder what it takes to size a ring? Well, here is your
answer. I take a ring sizing and walk you through every step! This
is a long video as it covers a lot of As a professional
jeweler, a job like this should take 12 minutes.

For what it’s worth - perhaps it was my computer, but the “talk” was
not “hearable”. I upped the ante the best I could and still it was
muffled. Just thought you should know.

Thank you for the feedback. I am new to making videos and I will
remember what you said for later. I have been getting some great
feedback from several different sources and I may remake this with
more illustrations and some handouts also. If you have any ideas for
what else you may want to see, then let me know. Thanks again Kay! =)

The volume was fine on my computer as was the video. If you have
time in the future it would be interesting to see a video on sizing
up a ring using a couple of different metal joining techniques (i. e.
ball, or notch joints).
Thanks for your interest in Orchid.

Thanks for the ideas Robert! I was taught that the notching method
(If we are talking about he same thing) was the best and correct way
to size a ring. I was also taught that most production/bench
jewelers do not do it because they were never shown how to do it. I
was thinking that my next video should be sizing up a ring so this
would be a good time to sit down and come upwith a script. I promise
I will improve my video skills with the next one.
Thanks again for the feedback. =)
