Orchid, I was wondering if any orchid members are planning on

the bench jewelers conference from BW Simon in April?

I’m not a “bench jeweler”-- I’m an independant art jeweler-- but I
may go if I have time. Why do you ask?

Noel, I was just curious. I’m trying to make up my mind if I should
go. I was wondering if I might run into any Orchid members there.
My boss is too tight to send me. So, I’m weighing the cost vs
benefit of paying my own way. I love the idea of a bench oriented

I am hoping to attend. Look forward to meeting you. Perhaps
Orchidians can leave some type of message at the registration desk as

James, I don=92t know how many from Orchid will be attending, but as
the organizer of this event I can tell you that Orchidians Blaine
Lewis, Gerry Lewy, Steve Satow, Jurgen Maerz, and myself will all be
presenting seminars at the conference. In addition Eddie Bell, and
Liz Brehmer from Rio Grande will present seminars as well as a number
of other excellent jewelers.

Also Orchid Forums will have a booth at the expo on Saturday &
Sunday. As of now this booth will be un-manned with fliers about
Orchid to pick-up. If there is interest we could open up the booth
and add chairs for members to gathering and meet or anything else
that you may want.

Companies that advertise on Orchid who will be exhibiting include;
Rio Grande, Hoover & Strong, & AJM / MJSA along with 30 other
suppliers to bench jewelers.
