Bead blasting

Hi all,

How does bead blasting (not sand/grit blasting) compare to a
vibrational tumbler in finishing?

I have heard that a bead should not have sharp edges and thus
burnishes the metal much like a rumbler. Is this correct?

Hi Cam,

Bead blasting is quite different to vibration finishing. The tiny
glass beads are fired at the metal surface by compressed air. It is
slightly abrasive and produces a mat finish.
