Where can I get a balancing scale to alloy small projects, like one
ounce of gold at a time? What type of scale do most of you use for
small projects? I prefer the balancing scale over the electronic.
Cecilia, I use an Ohaus “Dial-O-Gram” with a 310 gram capacity. It is
very accurate and available from many tool suppliers.

Hi Cecilia, I currently use a 200g digital scale for making alloys.
Its acurate to 1/10th gram but was very inexpensive(50$)on ebay. If
you want a more acurate scale you may have to pay more. I add a
little more gold to be on the safe side karat wise.
