Hi John, I think that is a great idea. It strikes me as a good bit
of self advertisement for the forum. I think the badge would need
to include the email for the forum. I would be happy to have a go
a designing it. If other people want to send me their suggestions
that would be helpful too

ah, volunteers come scrambling out of the woodwork!!!
Perhaps now is the time to coordinate efforts to avoid unnecessary
overlap?
I’ll be working on creating a stylized orchid graphic today, and
should have stickers out in the mail by Monday.
Terry Swift (tswift@thepoint.net)knows an orchid grower and
photographer.
John Henkel (jahenkel@netquarters.net) has offered to make bronze
badges.
Richard W (dan@rw.clara.net) has offered to design.
I’ll post back later with a pointer to the my version.
Meanwhile, Dr. Aspler, could you e-mail me the original graphic
for the mailing list? (The one from the banner)

G’day; Whoever designs an Orchid badge should submit it for
approval to Dr Aspler, the owner of Orchid, before having it come
into general use. It is only common courtesy, after all.
