Backing plates for rolling mill

Howdy Folks, If I wanted to use my club’s rolling mill to roll print
titanium, I understand I would use a couple of brass plates to
sandwich things with. I sthere a specific thickness? Will they need
to be annealed occasionally? How is brass annealed? Can aluminum be
used or are there other techniques? tia Carl 1 Lucky Texan

If you mean that you want to print onto titanium–I wish you luck.
If you manage to do it, let me know! Niobium prints well, but ti is
really too hard.

If you want to use cut-out ti to print on another metal–that wirks
pretty well. Sandwich with any non-ferous metti can damage your
rollers.
