Just did a local training session today just out of Toronto. This
fellow asked me to show him how bead setting is done. He gave me a
silver ring and I proceeded to do my demo, something felt strange how
the bright-cutting turned out. When two of the beads actually broke
off, I was dumbfounded! Then he told me" Oh-oh!..I gave you Argentium
instead of silver and it was just rolled through my rollers. I
discovered that certain metals are nice to bead-setters…
I will
return in a few weeks and do a demo with my .925 silver…
