April 30, 2004 International Juried Art Exhibition: Deadline May 1,
2004. Projekt30 is an online gallery run by artists designed to find
exposure for emerging artists. We are currently taking submissions
for our fifth in a series of bimonthly exhibitions. Thirty artists
will be selected, and their work will be mailed to over 28,000
galleries, collectors, artists, and other interested parties
worldwide. By popular demand this show will follow the "publicly
juried" format we pioneered in December, by which all artists who
apply will be posted online so that the visitors to Projekt30 may
help jury the exhibition, and if they wish contact participating
artists via email. All artists who participate will in this way
receive exposure, regardless of whether they are selected for the
final exhibit. The exhibition will open June 1st, 2004, the deadline
for submissions is May 1st, 2004. You may apply by mail or online.
The application fee is 35$ for 5 submissions, 5$ for each additional

New York City will see the debut of Off the Main - the show of
Contemporary African , Caribbean and Latin American Art, a fine art
exposition featuring galleries and artists from around the world. An
innovative approach to fine art shows, Off the Main includes a
juried art component open to professional artists of continental
African, Caribbean and Latin American ancestry, who live and work in
their home countries as well as artists of such ancestry who live and
work elsewhere. The finalists will be exhibited at Off the Main and
the overall winner will receive a prize of $5,000. The show is open

Jun 01, 2004 CALL FOR LOST ART DEMONSTRATORS For a River Revival
=46estival, must be an artisan or craftsperson working in period
between 1700 and early 1900’s at the latest. We do not charge for a
booth space, however, we’re asking for demonstrations to be done for
a three day event. Grand Excursion 2004 in Stockholm, Wisconsin.
There is going to be a flotilla of paddleboats traveling through and
stopping on Lake Pepin. We are expecting a huge turnout of tourists,
as there is much entertainment scheduled, and you are certainly
advised to bring items to sell. We are still looking for more people
to do beadwork, work with furs, weaving, textile arts, woodcarving,
and early photography, anything that would fit into the era. Costumes
are advised. Strolling string musicians who work for tips are
welcome. The event is July 1st, 2nd and 3rd of 2004 in Stockholm.
Stockholm is a small town founded by Swedish settlers in 1851, and
although our theme for this festival is not necessarily Scandinavian,
it wouldn’t be discouraged. Camping and accomodations can be

museum “Europos Parkas” (Vilnius, Lithuania) is opening a
competition in partnership with the packaging company “PakMarkas” to
develop a sculpture. The Exhibit is to be situated in the area in
“Europos Parkas”. Its site comprises 55 hectares of rolling hills;
woodlands and grasslands dotted with natural springs located just 19
