Anyone have a favorite anti-fatigue pad to stand on for hours?

There are so many out there I have no way to know what really is good. I am new to this group so I hope this is OK to post.

There are times that I wish that I had one, especially in front of my polisher. I also wish that I had one in a couple bench locations where I tend to drop very small pieces and they bounce on the hard concrete to places unknown. Whatever you get, you need to be able to clean them to recover whatever recyclable scrap drops into them. I have a separate vacuum just for that purpose and then send whatever it picks up to the refiner to let them sort it out. Last time there was $600 worth of gold just in the duff from my polishing hood. Not all refiners are willing to accept this type of scrap. Welcome to ganoksin…Rob

Wow! Thank you, Rob!

wlcome! there are interlocking rubber mats for execising. The mats are fairly stiff but do provide good support for feet and legs. Because they have sides that interlock, extending each mat to fit is an easy thing to do. when you vaccuum them for filings and small dropped silver and gold, vaccuum the joints as well as the surface.

Standing in place without moving more a long time makes joints stiff and achy. Take a break and walk around until you become loose again. The same goes for sitting at the bench. Neck pain and shoulder pain has to be stretched out. Ergonomics is another key to what you’re doing. There are many websites on good ergonomics.

I have used these mats from Global industries for years.

They work very well, and hold up well.
